Detective Dave (Part 1)

Detective Dave spent his life tracking down criminals. After a long day at work, he always returned home to enjoy a cup of tea and his favourite chocolate biscuits.

When he opened the cupboard and couldn’t find the biscuits, Detective Dave was gobsmacked. He forced himself to stay calm, there had to be a rational explanation. He searched high and low for the biscuits, but came up empty handed.

Detective Dave sat down and drew up a list of suspects. There was his wife Mindy, but Mindy hated chocolate. There was his neighbour, Mr. Smith, but Mr. Smith didn’t have a bad bone in his body. He would never steal.

Detective Dave realised his worst fears had come true. This could only be the work of Big Billy Johnson. Big Billy Johnson was the local crime boss. He was the most feared man in town, and every man and his dog knew that Big Billy Johnson loved chocolate biscuits.
