Episode 1 - The Eurostar
The Eurostar. It’s greener than flying, less hassle than flying and it even has a bar which is great news for caffeine addicts, and those who enjoy a tipple.
My recent Eurostar experience wasn’t exactly glamorous. I was caught in torrential rain walking to the Gare Du Nord in Paris, and by the time I arrived at the check in, my glasses had steamed up so badly, I was blind as a bat. If you can imagine a wet mole in jeans, that would be an accurate description of how I looked.
The Eurostar originally connected London to Paris, but nowadays, passengers are spoilt for choice with even more destinations available.
