Thick As Thieves
Tom and Dom are thick as thieves. They do everything together. They are completely inseparable. Until one day, Tom fell head over heels in love with Dom’s work colleague, Amanda.
Amanda was a petite girl with hazel eyes and a bright smile. Dom wasn’t surprised Tom was besotted. However, when Tom started to flake on their regular pub night, Dom decided to confront him.
“Tom, you’re spending way too much time with Amanda,” said Dom.
Tom looked at his best friend. “Dom, last night I popped the question. She said no.”
Dom felt the guilt burning through his body. “I’m so sorry Tom. Is there anything I can do?”
“Not really,” replied Tom. “The reason she said no is because she’s in love with you.”
